A few of us will be meeting at the Robert Furgeson Observatory to study the stars, the sun, and our solar system. Form 11am-3pm, there will be a solar telescope set up, then there is a "solar system" hike where we will start at the sun and walk to each planet in the solar system, to get a feel for a scale model. Then the lunar telescopes will be set up with Astronomers to answer questions at 6pm. You can join for any or all of it. Parking is $10 per car. The solar telescope is free. The even event costs $5 per adult, but all kids under 18 are free!!! Let's coordinate and figure out carpooling the week before. The observatory is about 90 min away, I think. I have never been, but have wanted to for years 😉 Here’s a link to the site: http://www.rfo.org/star-parties.html
